The T-shirt design for the Macklind Mile on June 29th is in! The area's largest one mile road race with nearly 1,500 registrants in 2012, this fun one-mile is a distance almost anyone can muster and runners and walkers looking for a mile PR will enjoy the downhill course from South City YMCA to Big River Running Company on Macklind and Devonshire. Make sure and stick around for the post-race party that includes music, food, beer, sno-cones and face-painting for the kids. 5 separate divisions accompany the morning with the friends and family wave (non-competitive, walkers, strollers, pets), men's competitive, women's competitive, elite and the highly anticipated kids quarter mile dash. Big River Running’s Cross Country Camp, which will be July 22 - 26, is a great way to get a jump start on the cross country season. 2013 marks our 7th annual camp for 7th - 12th graders. We've guided more than 800 student athletes from new distance runners to state champions over the years. Bring yourself or your whole team for a great week of training, the opportunity to meet other runners, the chance learn from some of the best runners in the St. Louis area and, of course, to have a lot of fun! The next Big River Pub Run is June 19 in St. Charles at 6 p.m.!

Introducing the most fun group run yet! Big River Running Company is excited to launch its Pub Run series in partnership with Llywelyn’s. Join us for the ultimate of social runs on the third Wednesday of each month at 6 p.m. at various Llywelyn’s locations throughout the St. Louis area. Runners, walkers and beer lovers will enjoy a 3-4 mile route each month and 15% off their Llywelyn’s tab post-run.
