Big River Training Team
Big River Running Company is your resource for fun, friendly, first-class training programs to prepare you for any race! Big River Running offers 12-week training programs twice a year to help you prepare for the fall and spring racing seasons. Our training teams are for EVERYONE! There are paces and partners for all ability levels of runners and walkers. Joining and participating in the Big River Training Team is FREE! However, a paid option ($120) is available for any participant who is looking for a more individualized plan and personal coaching. Running or walking a marathon, half marathon, 10K or 5K has become one of the most popular fitness activities in the U.S. and it goes beyond just finishing the race. Being a marathon/half marathon finisher means you have put in the hard work and exercised the discipline it takes to achieve such a goal. The training is 95% of the journey and the race is just icing on the cake. Big River’s training teams are designed to help you on your personal journey by providing you with coaches and teammates who share similar goals and can make the tough grind of training into a fun and social experience.
