Hip and glute strength can benefit athletes of all types, helping prevent injury and optimize performance. Expert Physical Therapists from CORA Physical Therapy will be on hand to discuss the anatomy of the hip and gluteal region and why having good functional strength in those areas is important to running, walking, and an active lifestyle. You will have the opportunity for active group participation and learn several exercises to functionally strengthen these important muscles.
Participants are encouraged to bring foam rollers, yoga mats, and resistance bands. There will be a small supply available to borrow.
