Do you want to gain focus, flexibility, strength and power in your running? Adding yoga to your training regime can help you avoid injuries and overcome nagging pain and dysfunction. Join long-time runner and Metro Power Yoga studio owner, Julie Bergfeld, in this dynamic, informative session geared specifically to runners. We will dive right into yoga postures and sequences that you can use at various stages in your training schedule no matter what your pace, shape, age or flexibility. These interactive sessions will explore poses beneficial for avoiding and overcoming injuries. We’ll also spend time going over great foam rolling techniques that compliment your yoga practice.
Mats, straps, blocks and foam rollers will be available, but you are encouraged to bring your own. Foam rollers are available for purchase at Big River Running.
The cost of the clinic is $10. A portion of the proceeds benefit a local charity.
