Getting ready to S.T.A.R.T

Training for your first 5k can be as simple as downloading any standard Couch to 5k App. But, who wants their introduction to running to be standard and impersonal? Big River Running’s S.T.A.R.T program is set up for success providing in-person,experienced and enthusiastic coaches that act as mentors throughout 10 week training and beyond.

There is no pressure here, just positive support to help you achieve your goals! Along the way you’ll be guided by your expert coaches on all aspects of training, from nutrition, hydration, injury prevention, motivation, goal setting, running form, pacing, gear and more. This program provides the solid base you need to continue on your life changing fitness journey.
