Improvements made to the upper were the wider Nav band for a more comfortable fit and the sleek, new upper material added no additional weight. Still a mere 8.6 oz, built on the anatomical last, and 4 mm drop the Pure Flow 4 says, “let’s go!” Now available at all four Big River locations!
New Balance Boracay — arriving soon!
Inspired by the feeling you get on a tranquil beach and named after one of the smoothest, sandy beaches in the world, the New Balance Fresh Foam Boracay is a “beach cruiser” of a running shoe, but without the weight! The breathable upper mesh allows for total comfort and the no-sew application accommodates a variety of foot shapes well. The heel to toe drop is 4 mm and weighs 9.3 oz. The Fresh Foam cushioning system is lightweight yet durable. This is a great shoe for long runs and shorter distances for those who like a lower heel to toe drop but a little more cushion. Big River can’t wait for this new shoe addition to hit stores! It will be here any day at all four stores!
New Balance Zante — arriving in March!
Merge into the fast lane of comfort! Meet the Zante from New Balance, the slightly edgier cousin to the Boracay. Named after one of the most popular islands in Greece where people go to see and be seen, this speedy lightweight trainer is appropriate for training or racing. With a Fresh Foam midsole, and an aggressive toe spring, the lightweight Zante offers a fast, responsive ride. The no-sew bootie upper hugs the foot nicely and the snug midfoot wrap ensures a performance fit. With a 6 mm heel to toe drop and responsive design, you’ll hardly notice the 7.5 oz trainer on your foot. Get ready to move into the fast lane! The Zante won’t arrive until March, but it will be worth the wait!
