Jenn Peterson, originally hailing from Lincoln, Nebraska, came to Missouri for college. She graduated from Mizzou with a BA in Art History and Archaeology and is currently working towards a career in Nursing, completing the necessary pre-requisites for Goldfarb School of Nursing. Jenn calls the Central West End her home and works primarily at Big River South City. Loving the idea of a company that both functions as a retail store with a community component, Jenn is hoping to use what she is learning in school to better serve the customers of Big River.
Living in very close proximity to Forest Park, she considers that one of her favorite spots to log miles. She has been running for about four years and likes to run at least one race a month (sometimes more). She calls her proudest running moment completing a half marathon in Olathe, KS and then completing a back to back 10k and 5k the next day in Des Moines, IA. “I couldn’t walk for a week after but it was totally worth it!”
Aside from her future career goals, she is looking to adopt a “furry friend” this fall and to continue to work towards improving her 10k PR.
