After almost 10 years of martial arts, Riley found his true love for running after joining his high schools cross country team. Riley ran cross country and track all 4 years of high school. He was then recruited by Webster University to run Cross Country and Track. He originally went there to pursue a degree in Biology but soon after classes started he found out that his true interest is in the human body and exercise. So Riley decided to switch majors to exercise science, where he is unsure of his future plans are, but would love to service the running community in some way.
Right now as a sophomore, Riley likes competing in cross country where the main distance is the 8k and then also track where he is training for the 5k and the 3k steeplechase. What he really wants to compete in are marathon and ultra marathons. He is taking advantage of his youth and continuing to run for Webster and waiting to start his marathon career until after college.
