DO:
Get fit by a professional! 8 out of 10 women are wearing the wrong bra size. That’s 80%!!! Wearing a bra that is too big can chafe and not provide proper support.
Have more than one so you can rotate your bras throughout the week. Ideally, you should have three good sports bras in your rotation; one in the wash, one you are wearing and one that is hanging up to dry.
Replace one sports bra every time you get new shoes! Sports bras have a lifespan just like our shoes. Make a habit of replacing shoes and a bra together every 6-12 months.
DON’T:
Don’t wear a sports bra that is so old you can no longer read the tags! This means the bra has probably celebrated too many birthdays. It is time to replace it with a new one!
Don’t double up your sports bras. If you have to wear more than one at the same time, you are not getting what you need. Instead, try a more supportive style that is designed for larger cups.
Don’t wear the same bras if you have recently lost or gained weight. Consider getting re-fitted for a sports bra that reflects your current body size. A supportive bra relies on a perfect fit!
